Hi! My name is Jill Raymond, and I'm excited to be leading a 1st grade classroom this year at Riffenburgh. This is my 8th year teaching, I have classroom experience in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. I feel honored as a first grade teacher to have the opportunity to install a love of learning and literacy that will guide students throughout their academic career.
I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and graduated from ASU with a degree in Elementary Education. I have two daughters, one in 7th grade, and the other graduated from Rocky in May 2023. We have been in Fort Collins since 2012. I like to bike, kayak, and hike. I also enjoy traveling, live music, and movies. I recently took my first trip to Yosemite, and visited Alaska in 2022. It's going to be a great year at Riffenburgh, and I'm proud to be a Roadrunner!
