I have been teaching for 15 years, 14 of them have been as a Roadrunner!
What I love most about teaching is…:
I love coming to work to all the stories and connections that the students make. I love making connections with students year after year as they grow older and move through the grade levels. First grade is an incredible year for academic and social growth and I enjoy being there to guide the students and help them be successful each day.
My favorite children's book or author is...:
I love Mercer Meyer's Little Critter books as well as all the Pete the Cat books!

Grand Junction, CO
My Interests & Hobbies include...:
I enjoy spending time with my kids, Cora, Lucy and Wes, my husband Mark and our black lab, Morgan. We like to explore Fort Collins on the weekends or head up to our family cabin in Glen Haven.
About My Classroom:
First graders are full of energy and so is my classroom. I try to create a loving, welcoming environment where students feel brave and open minded. We work hard and we enjoy time to connect. Each student has such potential for greatness, it is a good feeling to unlock that in each other.
