How many years have you been doing your job? How many years at Riffenburgh?:
I have been an educator and administrator in Poudre School District since fall of 2003 and principal at Riffenburgh since fall of 2017. Being in education and at Riffenburgh is such a privilege. I love being involved with all our wonderful students, families, and staff. Before I was an administrator, I taught kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 6th grade and Literacy.
What I love most about teaching is…:
the individuality of each student that walks in the classroom. I love getting to know each child at Riffenburgh!
My favorite children's book or author is...:
Ish by Peter H. Reynolds is my favorite book and Patricia Polacco is my all time favorite author.
My hometown is...:
Pittsford, NY since I spent a lot of my childhood there, but my birthplace is Aurora, CO.
My Interests & Hobbies include...:
camping, reading, and watching my kids play sports!
